- Prototype
Prototype / demo. The public site explicitly labels featured clinics and insurance examples as fictional. This case study does not claim a verified provider network, completed bookings, or clinical outcomes.
Confidence before the visit.
Choosing where to seek care involves more than finding a pin on a map. CareGrid explores how specialty, neighbourhood, fee information, and contact options can sit together in a more understandable experience for Uganda and East Africa.
The design lens
The interface brings fee ranges, facility information, and trust signals into the discovery flow. Search by specialty, symptom, or neighbourhood offers different starting points for people with different levels of certainty.
The engineering lens
Facility discovery, comparison, and appointment pathways are presented as connected steps. WhatsApp and phone contact remain visible alongside the booking experience, reflecting how people already seek information.
The strategy lens
Start with the questions people need answered before a visit: where, what kind of care, and at what expected cost. Local contact habits and UGX pricing make that framing specific to its context.
Useful healthcare discovery begins before the appointment, with understandable choices.
